Getting the right Kernel
 
I want to update my kernel to the newest version. I looked around kernel.org, but couldn't find what file I need. I'm a linux :newbie:. So I dont really know what file I have to get. There are a lot of files on that website. Which file exactly do I have to download?

hi there,

in www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ go to v2.6 folder...
than get linux-2.6.0.tar.bz2 and be happy !!! ; )
