Getting rpms to work...

This is the first time I am trying to install an rpm, and I have some problems... I would like to install a new shell, ksh. I found on the Redhat 9.0 cd this rpm:

Then I just ran:

rpm -ivh /mnt/cdrom/SRPMS/pdksh-5.2.14-21.src.rpm

A bunch of starts appear and "100 %", which gives the idea that everything worked out fine.

But I have a feeling that I missed some final step, because it's still not possible to run ksh. Should I make some link or what?

Thanks for the help!

You're installing the SRPM - a source RPM package. You will need to build it in order to install it, but there should be a ksh binary package (probably called ksh...(whatever)...i386.rpm on your CD's. The i386 indicates it is compiled for the PC architecture.
