Getting RhythmBox working with Fedora Core
Hi!
I've recently installed Linux for the first time on my machine. (I'm using Fedora Core 1 on a Dell Inspiron 5100.) I''ve been having some trouble getting RhythmBox working. The first time I ran RhythmBox was after using up2date to sort out my multimedia stuff using the Fedora, Fedora.Us and Livna RPMs. It worked then, but couldn't output MP3s. Later, in order to get a working DVD player, I added the RPMs from the DAG repositories. I think I updated more-or-less everything that didn't report a conflict. I've also got one or two packages via FreshRPMs, but haven't put it in my up2date config file. RhythmBox now produces a gnome segmentation fault whenever I run it. Does anyone have any idea as to (a) what I've done, and (b) how to fix it? Thanks in advance for your advice. DJA |
