Getting ready to install.

OK I'm about ready to install version 9.0 of Linux Mandrake.
It will be on a second partition. WinXP on the first.

This will be my first Linux install and my first dual boot experience.
Does any one have any "watch out for's" for me.

Yep. Mandrake gives you the option of different install types... always go for the expert mode. You may not consider yourself to be an expert in either Linux or your hardware, but it really isn't that hard and you get so much more control over what's going on.

Good luck.
