getting linux to connect to a windows network
I have installed SUSE 10.2 on my IBM ThinkPad R51. I have been running it fine for about 3 months now, but I am haveing a few troubles. My biggest problem is I have 2 desktops running MS Windows XP that are networked together and I want to be able to share pics, media, and the printer with them. I need to be able to access the printer via the laptop. I have tried adding a networked printer through Yast with no success. I have tried using SAMBA...but not sure exactly how to configure everything. I am a quick learner, so any help on how to set up my network would be greatly appriciated.
PS I am also have admin priviledges on all of the pc's. |
