getting linux to connect to a windows network

I have installed SUSE 10.2 on my IBM ThinkPad R51. I have been running it fine for about 3 months now, but I am haveing a few troubles. My biggest problem is I have 2 desktops running MS Windows XP that are networked together and I want to be able to share pics, media, and the printer with them. I need to be able to access the printer via the laptop. I have tried adding a networked printer through Yast with no success. I have tried using SAMBA...but not sure exactly how to configure everything. I am a quick learner, so any help on how to set up my network would be greatly appriciated.

PS I am also have admin priviledges on all of the pc's.

How To Samba With Suse 10.1 And Windows XP

SuSE 10.2 shouldn't be too different from 10.1. Hope this solves the problem for you.
