getting error while installing yum

see in my red hat enterprise 4 system i have to run windows and web application(vb and VS.Net) so i have to install WINE(windows API)but while instaling i get know that i have to firstly install yum And while installing m getting error (BAd Magic number)Plz cud u help me out....Plz if u can tell me the step by step process to install WINE on red hat enterprise 4

How are you installing it? Can you elaborate a bit on your issue? How you are doing and if you do not have RH paid subscription then why are you not using CentOS instead?
