Getting "530 Login incorrect" trying to ftp to slackware 9.1 box.
 
I have valid users that can I can use to log into my linux box, but when I ftp to the machine with the same user, I get the following:

530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.

This machine is using the default proftp configuration. No mods made.
