get the gentoo source from livedvd

Hi there,

I installed gentoo earlier today, using the live dvd. I need wifi and hence need to install madwifi driver. I got the source but I cannot compile as gentoo never installed the gentoo source - /usr/src is completely empty. Is the gentoo source on the live dvd and how do i get it - surely it is. Iv browsed the dvd and cant see anything obvioius. Also I dont have access to the router to get a wired connection - so I cant just emerge. I do have wifi on my Ubuntu laptop, so can download things and transfer on usb stick. Would have downoaded the gentoo source direct, but not sure which version i would need or where to get it.
