Get connected to internet with wireless broadband in runlevel 3, How?

Hi everyone, does anyone know how to get connected using wireless broadband in runlevel 3? My problem is I try to install NVIDIA driver for box, I downloaded the BIN file and run it from runlevel 3. It asked me for downloading something regarding precompiled kernel. But basically, it wants to get access to internet. So, I assume that I should have access to internet in runlevel 3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for you time and thanks for your help

You do not need to do that download thing necessarily. Just tell it "NO", and it should be able to build its own kernel interface.
The only distro that I am aware of that has non-standard installation procedure, is SuSE, and I don't know what the details of that are; but, for Fedora, you should be fine by skipping that download part.
