get a RAM information.


mandrake 10.0

i do not know how to get a information of a RAM
1)what type?
2)which company.
3)used memory.

Search for aida16 software. There´s a nice version that boots from floppies.
In linux, try:
free

and

cat /proc/meminfo

actually what i need is:

the type of RAM.
that is either SDRAM OR DDR OR DRAM.

THE TYPE I HAVE OR MY FRIENDS HAVE.?
