Geode LX 800 linux compile

Dear all,
I have a geode lx-800 PC-104 SBC computer, I would like to create debian embedded distribution. my development system is
Red Hat, is it possible compile Debian kernel 2.6.xx under the
red hat, Please provide directions.

You might be better off just downloading Debian and running that. You should get the XFCE or LXDE edition, and you may want to disable unnecessary services to cut down on RAM usage, but it should run OK.

Thanks for the response, since I am waiting for the board to come I would like to start
Debian under QEMU and create required boot Compact flash.
What you think about it.

That should work. With QEMU, you should even be able to install to the Compact Flash card directly.
