gdesklet

I have recently installed gdesklets thru synaptic manager. I am running an amd 64 with a gforce 7800 system with ubuntu 7.10 When I try to run the gdesklets manager all it does is start, turn gray, and disappear. I have the restricted drivers activated. I am running compiz-fusion flawlessly, and have no troubles running my games.

Any thoughts, or tips???

odd one i have no ideas im stumped

edit: maybe compiz and gdesklets cant both be run at once?
