Gcc?

Hey y'all,

I have Fedora Core dual booted with win2k. I am currently trying to install the drivers for my BT Voyager ADSL modem, which I got from a site linked ona previous thread here.

I can unzip the file fine, and get into the new dir, but when I ./configure it runs for about 3 seconds before failing with the error

Searching for gcc location.......not found

I was pretty sure that the distro, from Linux Format#49, should have come with gcc and so was a friend who has run linux for a while. I'm confused, help?

Cheers

Fedora has a gcc package on the CD but you probably didn't choose to install the development tools when you installed the OS. You just need to find the pacakge and install it.
