Garbaged console after quitting X
Hey everyone!
I've had a really disturbing problem lately, but haven't given a shot on it yet. When I exit X in any way, or just switching to console by using the CTRL+ALT+F-keys, the console screen gets filled with garbage symbols (colored squares replacing all the text, can't see or read what i type). Have someone had this problem? Regards, raccoon |
I haven't presonally experienced anything the like...
Can you type reset in the console? Cheers, Tink |
"colored squares" is a symptom of non-refreshed VGA memory.
Any refreshing issues yet ? |
i also get that, only i only got it after switching from xfree86 to xerver, i think its a problem with the code or somthing
