Games LinuxMint9 KDE

Hi all,

I am a newbie and have successfully installed linuxmint 9 KDE. I wanted to see what games there were, but can't seem to find any. So i opened software manager, went to games and so-called install a couple of card games. But I still have no category for games in list of applications

Am i doing something wrong??

Mint really has this weakness, but maybe someday this thing shall be fixed.

Meanwhile, the easy way to have a games menu is to install Gnome Games. This usually offers up the needed Games menu.

Another way is to install Alacarte (use Synaptic installer). Having this installed you can configure anything to appear in your menu.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
