Cool Games for linux

Hi all,

i am a new user of linux. i love linux & want to play game in linux.
i can install only *.rpm package. they r easy to install for new user like me.
can anybody give me any web address from where i can install rpm package format games for my linux Mandriva 2008.0. free of cost.

i love to play full featured games like windows. not small games supplied with linux distro.
is there any free .rpm games for linux like games of windows?
plz. inform me as soon as possible.

give me the address from where i can download them free of cost.

you should be able to install a lot of games right from the Mandrive repository..

for example:
urpmi bzflag

There is a graphical front end to the package manager called rpmdrake which should have things categorized by type such as 'games', 'office applications', 'graphics' etc..

this page has links to Linux game sites so you can see which games you might be interested in, or check the games forum here for posts on 'favorite Linux games'

there's a website called i think that i saw the other day, and that has a link to some live CD or DVD of only games - but i looked at their webpages and they're all horrible shooting games. the site itself may be worth a look though.
