Game thinks I have a joystick

Im trying to play oblivion and it thinks I have a joystick or game pad plugged in. I do not own one. It keeps inputting a command causing me to strafe forever. Ive tried editing the .ini file to tell it not to enable a joystick but that didnt work. I do not have an accelerometer or any hardware that i can see possibly causing the issue.

Any advice?

Is this native Linux game or you play by wine? If wine, did you installed DirectX and which version, also what other libraries you replaced?
