Angry gaim problems

hi there , i have an annoying problem with my gaim .. i used the one on the cd`s ( suse 9.0 ) and it did not work.. some error "authentication failed" i got a new rpm for suse but now it is sayin` smth like "unable to read" .. i am clueless .. btw i was trying` 2 get gaim to connect to my yahoo account.. what now ? i have tryed everything even everybuddy and kopet and thay don`t work as well ..
help a

After checking your spelling, try grabbing Gaim from the homepage. Sometimes the protocols are changed to keep people like Gaim users away...

what is wrong with my spelling ? people make mistakes .. anyway i have done that to .. i tried everything from the gaim site but the rpms there did not work as-well .

The packages with Suse 9.0 would be outdated and the protocols changed so gaim and kopete would not be able to log you into yahoo or msn. The best thing is to uninstall the old version, then install the autopackage from the gaim website.
