When i try to connect to MSN over Gaim i get this Error . Protokoll wird nicht unterstützt ( thats Germany ) sry i dont know what Protokoll in english is but it says something like Does not Support "Protokoll" and when i translate Protokoll into english at babelfish it says protokoll = minutes lol ...

For all not germans:
Protokoll = protocol

Are you sure you have specified the correct protocol (Protokoll) in the account settings?
You must specify the msn protocol to use it with an msn account.

I only typed in my Logins ....
Like i did for ICQ .

What does that mean?
You have to specify a new account. You can do that under "Accounts" (or "Konten" ). Then you add (=Hinzufügen) there a new account, specifying the msn protocol.

hi there
i was also facing some kind of problem whle using Yahoo in Gaim
so i got the new 0.80 version from gaim project site at sourceforge.net
compiled the source nad now gaim is running fine

AMSN is a great stand alone msn program...might wanna check into that.
