G15macro make error

I'm trying to install G15macro so I can use my macro keys on my g11 keyboard but get this error when using the make command.

make all-am

/bin/bash ./libtool --tag=CC --mode=link gcc -O3 -Wall -g -O2 -I. -I. -g -O2 -avoid-version -o g15macro g15macro.o -lg15daemon_client -lg15render -lX11 -lXtst
gcc -O3 -Wall -g -O2 -I. -I. -g -O2 -o g15macro g15macro.o /usr/lib/ -lpthread -lm /usr/lib/ /usr/lib/ -lg15render -lX11 -lXtst -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/lib -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/lib
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXtst

You need to have libXtst installed. It looks like g15macro is expecting it to be in /usr/lib.
