fwbuilder session management error
Hi All
Am somewhat new to linux and this is driving me mad. I have installed fwbuilder on mandrake 10.x, the install went smoothly. I pull up a terminal and type in fwbuilder i then get a message saying...
Session management error: Authentication rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host based authentication failed.
Then firewall builder starts to load. Then when i have made a policy and try to install it useing either root or other local credentials, it tells me permission denied, it does this no matter what u+p i use.
I think this has something to do with the fact that on my system you cant login directly as root you have to su. Does this sound right???
If so anyone have any ideas how i can correct this???
Any thoughts would be greatfully received.
have fun
