Functional installation of Ubuntu on HP ProBook with hybrid graphics.

Hello everybody,I need a fully functional Linux/Windows dual boot installation on my laptop but this PC have Intel HD integrated and AMD Radeon HD 6490M graphics and it make many problems.I tried several times to configure system but without success.Hybrid graphics always makes troubles which leads to overheating and rapid discharge of the battey.I only can to disable "switchable graphics" option from bios but this is not the good solution because it does not solve problem of overheating and work of fan.And then I can't switch to 3d in Ubuntu.I also tried to change some kernel lines to solve this but I had even less success. It would help me if someone there has solved this problem on this model(or some other with Intel HD family integrated and AMD Radeon HD 6490M)then I could follow his instructions to solve this.I really need Ubuntu (and like it) but this is too big problem for my skills and so I need your help.Thank you.

Is this a problem with Ubuntu OS? or with your PC hardware? I don't think that there's any relation between overheating and Ubuntu. Why dont you once check your PC for any hardware issue. Dual booting should not be an issue then.

Switchable graphics CAN lead to the sort of problems that betterbuffalo is having.

over heating can happen due to hardware issue not due to os or any software, once check your hardware.
