ftp user

I use proftp server in my linux server , I have added many users and divided them by groups ,

Now , the user login to the ftp server , they can see all directories of the same group ,

if I want to set the user directly connect to his own directory and can not cd to other user directory , can advise what can i do ?

Try to set the chroot to yes (true)


After that the users can browse all directories included in their home directory ONLY

Post again if something goes wrong

DefaultRoot ~

Means that the user will be locked in his home directory.
