FTP issues
 
Hi Friends,
I had configured vsftpd on this server. Its working fine and I can upload and download files through filezilla and other ftp clients. But I am not able to connect ftp through browsers like mozilla and IE. I am getting error. Can you tell me how to sort out this issue?

I am using centos

You could start by telling us _which_ error you get and _which_ commands you entered in the aforementioned browsers.

Also:
- Do only IE and mozilla (firefox, iceweasel,??) have this problem or other browsers as well?
- Anything in the log file(s)?

If i tried ftp://ipaddress in the browsers, I am getting the following error.
425 failed to establish connections

If i tried ftp://ipaddress in the mycomputer address bar, I am getting the following error.
200 switching to ascii mode 550 permission denied.
