hi

i want to install the client/server ftp software for an arm board..
where can i find the dnload?

No, you wouldn't ... you put ftp in the search field, and then take your
pick from the hundreds being returned :)

You could narrow it down with +ftp +server +linux

yup tried that, it gives me names of ftp servers that i can use to store and retrieve data on/from...
i actually want the ftp software to be installed on my machine so that it can act as a client

In that case replace the +server with +client ;}

hi Tinkster,

thanks for answering my questions patiently...i dnloaded quite a few versions of ftp, and ive decided to use someother protocol instead to transfer files, as none of those versions compile properly...
