ftp connection error
 
hi all,
i am getting ftp error while connecting.

when i am trying to connect from one pc to other or viec versa using command "ftp 202.202.202.4" error found 'no route to host'. both system having linux, fedora and centOS.
what would be the solution, anybody.

Can you reach the host normally? For example, does the host allow you to ping it? What happens with a traceroute?

If they are two machines that do have connectivity, are there any firewall features running on the 202.202.202.4 device that could stop this? Finally is there an ftp server running on that device?

sorry i didn't mention that both pc can ping each other even scp work on both pc but ftp and vncviewer give error 'no route to host'. i don't know how to config firewall or iptables but i will, if anybody can guide me.
