Frustration! - GnoMenu and Menu Bar - Lost my two desktop view shortcut key
Running Ubuntu 9.10 with gnome
I have used the "menu bar" panel applet (is that the proper term.) and can access a neat option when I use Super+e shortcut. I wanted to try out the gnomenu applet. problem: i can no longer use the super+e to access the multiple desktop view. can i set that shortcut command regardless of what menu i use. |
Go into your gnomenu options (right click gnomenu, then choose options, settings, prefrences, or whatever it happens to call it). There should be an option about binding the super-key or something like that. I think maybe in the second tab? sorry I can't be more specific, I used to use gnomenu but don't right now...

the problem is that I don't know what the particular 'applet?' is called that allows when pressed zooms out and displays 2 desktops with a mirror like effect at the bottom.
