I download Lubuntu 14.04(??)(with the idea of updating to current version on first boot). I did this because my USB stick wouldn't boot so I had to burn it to a CD. I had to download a version under 700MB.
Every time I try to install or update anything, I get an error.
Package Operation Failed
The installation or removal of a software package failed.
I've tried to upgrade to current Lubuntu, install Chrome browser, and I also tried to "Update Software." I got this error each time.
I'm going to try 17.04 netinstall because the fill image wont burn correctly for me....it errored during install so now i'm reinstalling the old version. Hopefully the mini.iso will burn correctly.

If it doesn't burn correctly you could try to use Unetbootin:- That is if you have a flash drive handy.
Ok...I'm back in action and have everything working how I want it! The only problem I'm having now is logging into CUPS web interface....my root password doesn't seem to be working! Always something haha!
