Freemind shell script

hi all

I d/l Freemind from sourceforge and the install instructions told me to unzip the tar.gz file and open the freemind.sh script

having done that and double clicking on the freemind.sh icon, nothing happens!?

what am i doing wrong? I've tried logging in as root and doing the same but again nothing happens

cheers

open a terminal, "cd" to the source directory, and then type ./freemind.sh

you may have to give the file proper permissions first though:

chmod +x freemind.sh

thanks for the help guys but I think I know why it doesn't work

I reread the site and I need a Java Runtime Environment which I don't think I have...I'll try doing that some other time...or getting Wine and porting MindManager through that
