FreeBSD authentication problem
Hi all,
Please assist me. I am a Microsoft boy and a complete novice with Linux. I have just taken over a site that has an existing FreeBSD domain controller mainly for file sharing. I have a feeling that the previous IT guy has done some devious move that since I restarted the server none of the workstations will log on to the network unless I docs connect the LAN cable, logon with cached credentials and then plug the LAN cable in again. I noticed that in the etc/master.passwd file, all users and computer accounts are set to /false and not /bash Would this cause the logon issues? Also on the server I am getting lists of NSSWITCH , wins, undefined symbol nss_module_register Any assistance would be greatly appreciated Thank you |
So this is not linux, is it?
