Free Training??
 
Hey, I find this forum very very helpful, however i feel i could really learn if it were kinda in a classroom form or mayb online training. I was just wondering if any of u guys know of a site with info on this stuff. I guess id like it to b free but if not im just eager to fidn info on it. ive searched google but i cant seem to find anything with much info. o and btw i live in Washington if u know of some schools with linux information in the classes. Or if u know of some good books that would help plz tell me. ty for any info that u offer

IBM Developer Works has some great tutorials. You can view them online or download them in html or pdf formats.

Then there's The Linux Documentation Project

They have great guides and howto's

I don't think you'll find any free or online training. Most of it costs way too much.

There should be a Linux User's Group in your area. Most have meetings with interesting speakers.

i wouldn't think anything would be free, but supposedly community colleges offer classes in unix and the like. though i would think this would apply to cc's in big cities....as my little podunk town doesn't offer anything, otherwise i'd be signed up. so yeah, check your local cc's. http://www.sbctc.ctc.edu/
