Free Firewalls and filters w/web interface

I am looking for a free linux firewall that may or may not include spam filters but needs content filtering. I have looked at smoothwall but I was hoping there was something better out there that allowed me to do everything. Please send me you suggestions and I will start evaluating them. Since I am in this forum you know that I am a newbie and I am still learning command lines. Thanks for your help.

Smoothwall has an enormous amount of unofficial addons (homebrew 3rd party I think is what they call it). There is even an install ISO that has a TON of these already installed. A plain, naked smoothwall is still a very good firewall. Adding on all the extras makes it comparable to a high end commercial system.

Good luck!

Cool

Google is your friend on that one. Also, consider m0n0wall.

The point is, you noodle around here, see what people are mentioning, do some more research with Google, then experiment with a few applications to best fit your needs.
