free animation editor


the noobie is back again with a new (stupid) question
i would like to make animations from my .gif images
so does anybody know a animation editor to make animations from .gif images
a free one of course
i couldn't find one for linux

Have you tried Gimp? I'm not sure but I think it does animations. It certainly has done everything I wanted it to do
