I have an Aspire One. o/s Linpus Linux Lite v1.0.13 E. Everything was working fine. Suddenly I am unable to connect to Firefox. Little blue circle rotates for a short while then stops. Have read similar problem with other members. Issue seems to be corrupt Mozilla file. Suggests opening 'file manager' etc. I am unable to fathom out how to access 'file manager'. I hit F2 on start up and get InsydeH20 Setup Utility, but can't see my way further. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Should I then upgrage/change o/s?

Hi Rob1949Scott, Welcome to LQ. Try the following, taken from the Linpus website to access a terminal.
Quote:
The Steps to open a terminal window:
1. Press "ALT + F2"
2. Enter "terminal"
3. Enter "su -"
4. Enter your root password
Once you have this access you'll want to navigate to your user home directory, locate the .mozilla directory and rename it .mozillaold. Exit from the terminal and see if Firefox will start up for you after that.
Hi Peacedog,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, before I could make an attempt the screen went blank. Turned on, 'Aspire One'came up on screen, then all went blank except for 'mouse pointer'. I can access InsydeH20 by hitting F2 on initial start up, but that is it. Can you again offer advise. Many thanks. Rob
