fortress linux install question
 

I am trying to install this fortress linux system which has a command based installer.

I created two partitions on the drive one for boot and one for the root. When the installer tries to create the encrypted root partition it gives me this message:

"cannot format device dev/sde1 because device is still in use"

Why is it telling me this? I originally tried to install the system over the entire drive and got the same message so I created the two partitions but that didn't solve the issue.

For some reason, the system is seeing partitions as being mounted. If you are trying to install from a CD or USB stick, you might try rebooting the installation media or finding some way to unmount the partition. If you are trying to install from some other source, please tell us more.

Also, (and this is really why I wrote this) did you make a swap partition? If not, you might want to revisti your partitioning.

It was because I didn't properly create the two partitions, I created one for boot and left the free space for root without actually creating a 2nd partition w/gparted.
