Fortran 90/95 tutorial?

I've just found out that i've missed a few (the first few) lessons on Fortran at uni. So i figure i'd better teach myself a bit of it before the next one.

I've had a look round, and the syntax seems fairly straightforward, but i can't find any tutorials that explain what i'm doing - most seem to just get me to build a program without telling me what each line does.

Does anyone know of any good fortran starting tutorials? I just want to get the basics of the syntax down now, and get loads of practice in.

Hi Lordandmaker, here you have some links so you can review the basics of Fortran 90/95:

http://www.qmw.ac.uk/%7Ecgaa260/BUIL...90/OUTLINE.HTM

http://www.pcc.qub.ac.uk/tec/courses...p/f90-ohp.html

http://wwwasdoc.web.cern.ch/wwwasdoc/WWW/f90/f90.html

You may want to install gfortran, the Fortran 90/95 compiler, part of the GNU family compilers. So you can practice. You have other alternatives, g95 another free compiler and also Intel Fortran Compiler 9.0 which is free for non-commercial activities.
