formatting linux
Hi there.
I'm fairly new to linux but something i never did learn was how to get rid of linux.
I need to revert back to windows for school. anyone help me?
I somehow can't find my linux cd either. is that a problem?

if you want to get rid of linux, then just reinstall windows.

wow, that is funny. they do seem to make installing it over linux hard though, i dont' know why they just don't tell people to drop there windows disk in and then use their fdisk and erase the whole drive. that would seem alot easier to me.

for some reason it doesn't want to remove the partition and get any further than starting it.
any other way to get rid of it, or might i need to use the support of the cd and use fdisk to delete that partition?

tried that too. it just doesn't seem to want to get past that screen though. it always gets stuck.
