forgot my password in mandrake9.1
 
Hello,
using Mandrake9.1 i came upon a problem:
i forgot my password (non-root account). Becouse of unavalibility of root account in KDE i can't reset password with graphic means, so, i guess, i have to reboot in bash(like) and reset by command-line.

tell the shortest way, please, i'm lack of time.
1/ how to load 2 termial avoiding KDE?
2/ command 4 resetting password 4 user

you can boot normally. At the login, press ctrl+alt+f2. You'll get to a text console. Login as root. you can change the passwords for each user by
passwd username
it will ask you for a new password.

You didn't install the developmental packages? As root, command:
urpmi gcc
An Introduction to the Midnight Commander. You can install it by commanding:
