Post Forgot my entry password on my Panasonic CF-18 Toughbook

I purchased my toughbook many years ago and stopped using it about 2 years ago. I took the computer out of my closet and wanted to get on but cannot remember the login password. I have called panasonic and microsoft and they refer me to each other. I even asked Panasonic that I will take the computer to a Panasonic dealer or distributor because when I bought this computer I had to order it and register it by phone and the computer was sent to my home. Not possible. I need help....
I cannot find the recovery disc which I dont know if that would help.
I also had a friend look at the computer and he told me that the BIOS had a password which I have no idea what that is.

Entry password, as in bootup password? Or "log in to operating system" password?
If it's the bootup password, refer to the manual and take out the BIOS battery for a few seconds.

You won't find much help if you're looking for a Windows password on a Linux forum.

If it has XP preinstalled, it may have a null login password for the "Administrator" account, if you haven't changed the default. This account is visible if you boot up in safe mode (F8). A neighbor of mine was locked out by poledit changes made trying to configure VPN for accessing his work network. This may or may not work today, but you said the computer was a couple years old.
