For linux newbies: Playing Restricted Media When Using Ubuntu

For those of you who are new to linux and considering using ubuntu, kubuntu or xubuntu as a start. Here is a quick video tip I found on youtube on installing and playing proprietary codecs such as mp3s,flash,java etc in ubuntu.

One short note: You'll need to use Windows to view the video if the extras aren't already installed. Otherwise, very nice and informative.

Yes, that was my assumption when I submitted the post. They would watch it from windows,mac,a live linux CD with flash, or another linux distro.
