I believe the Linux port for Americas Army was performed by Gentoo. installation is simple and works well on my Mandy 9.1 box with nvidia drivers.
I picked my up my copy from the August copy of Linux Forum magazine. ( a UK publication)
I have had no problem with the game in any form, but I must add that the online players are quite serious about the gameplay and won't tolerate any frivalous behavior, little too serious for me at times ;-)

I downloaded 316 MB with a dialup connection. It took me about 23 hours to do that. I like the game..its pretty good if you look at the price (which is free)
