Question Fonts are stretched on all apps after intalling mandrake updates

Installed Mandrake 10.0, then installed updates-all of them. Using KDE display, everything was looking good, but on reboot I get way to far spaced fonts on the destktop, on the apps menu and on the web browser. I've played with the fonts and thats not it. I don't know how to fix it other than running the install disk again. Any suggestions??
