Folder Permissions, Whoops, Help plz

Hey I setup vsftp and the tut said to do this

sudo chmod a+rwx /home/ftp/incoming

But I did THIS instead

sudo chmod a+rwx /home/ftp

And now my ftp server refuses to run because it doesnt like the ftp directory be writable, which I think sucks, but I can live with it.

What is the command to make the ftp folder permissions return to normal so I can run vsftpd once again?

So try chmod a-w ?
