Fluxbox : set focus on opened window

When I open Firefox with "Mod_4 + Q", I would like that Firefox has the focus set on it, in order to press a shortcut that is builtin into Firefox (Alt+D, for example).

Does anyone know how to do it ?

there's a menu item to set the focus to new windows. i think that would work for hotkey apps too, at least it works with mine.
