Fluxbox on DirectFB?

Can fluxbox run on top of DirectFB? If so... How?

I made a small linux distro for my own specific needs. (30 MB uncompressed).

It already has DirectFB installed.

I googled around for a little bit but unless it was right under my nose, I couldn't find any information about DirectFB and Fluxbox.

Sorry for such a short post. :-/

Unfortunately, no. Fluxbox was made to run on top of X. You really wouldn't be able to do much without X in the first place graphically wise. If you're looking to make a small Linux Distro with X, it would only add about 20 extra MB or so to it if done correctly. There is a window manager for DirectFB called SaWMan. Here's a link to that.

Hope I helped!
