Fluxbox install on Redhat 9.0

I had downloaded the fluxbox-0.1.14.tar.gz and tried to install it.
after I wrote ./configure
I received following error:

checking for t_open in -lnsl... no
checking for socket in -lsocket... no
checking for X... no
configure: error: Fluxbox requires the X Window System libraries and headers.

just get a fluxbox binary install rpm, and make sure you already have X installed and its libraries/fonts.

allright, I downloaded the fluxbox-0.1.14-0.fdr.6.rh90.i386.rpm and installed it.
yes I have allready installed the X and the liebaries.

so I hoped now it will works, unfortunatley it's still the same problem!

do you have other ideas?

may be u need the X development libs ??
