fluxbox - distorted display

When I run fluxbox, my display is distorted. It looks like it is stretched horizontally. If someone can tell me how to take a screenshot in fluxbox, I could post a pic on my site to look at. Any ideas what might be the problem?

Thanks,
jrtayloriv
