Floppy image


Hi, i have read how mount floppy image (*.img) but how edit by adding files?

mount -o loop floppy.img /mnt/whatever


check 'the loop device' in the man page, or at:

http://linux.die.net/man/8/mount

for further options relating to block size, etc..

Wonder if it still needs the -w option?

And how change permissions couz mounted device has root permissions?!
Yeah and need to set -r

Solve myself

sudo mkdir /media/floppy/
sudo mount -t vfat -o loop,rw,umask=0 image.img /media/floppy/

just dont change directory /media/floppy/
