Unhappy Flash player not working (Running IceCat 7.1 on Lucid 10.04)

I've gone on a flash player installing spree, and nothing works. I have gnash Gnash installed, and a ton of flash libraries from the repositories, nothing seems to help. Youtube loads, and all videos play fine on FF, but no IceCat. There are some instructions when I search, I think some files just need to be associated with IC, but the folders mentioned in the instructions don't even exist anymore, and are marked as removed in the changelog. Any help would be greatly appreciated tyty.
