fixed: you could not access the drive - whilst i want to create a rescue stick ...

Hi there - good day.

update: aaah - as root it works like a charme...

while creating a Rescue-USB-Stick i downloaded the opensuse leap image

then i continued

dd if=openSUSE-Leap-15.2-DVD-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=32k
where sdX=sdb or sdc is the USB stick

but it stuck

Code:
$ dd if=openSUSE-Leap-15.2-DVD-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=32k
dd: konnte '/dev/sdb' nicht öffnen: Keine Berechtigung
(base) martin@mx:~/Downloads
$ dd if=openSUSE-Leap-15.2-DVD-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sdc bs=32k
dd: konnte '/dev/sdc' nicht öffnen: Keine Berechtigung
(base) martin@mx:~/Downloads
$

how to go arond - what to do !?

btw: i currently work on MX-Linux...

many many thanks for this incredible forum here- i love it!

You said you've been using Linux for FIFTEEN YEARS now...it's odd that you don't know about SUDO or su, especially when the error you posted is fairly clear. Even more odd since you've done several installations in the past, and have posted things very similar:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...er-4175679032/
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...do-4175634034/

Glad you've got things working and posted a solution, but you also need to post here in English, as this is an English-only forum. Sudo or su has permissions your 'regular' user doesn't have, which is why the command worked. Also, any ISO image tool (like imagewriter from SuSE, rufus, etc.) can write an image to USB. You posted from a Windows machine, and that will also give you a 'not authorized' message if you don't have admin rights, and try to burn an image.
